ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY – WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Technology used by people needing assistance to use computers. People with low vision use software to enlarge images on a computer screen. Students may use the Sorenson videophone to converse in American Sign Language. ADD students may scan their reading assignments, save as an MG3 file, and listen to the narrated text while they read. A student with an injured hand may need a keyboard with extra-large keys. ESL students may record their assignments in a WAV file using Microsoft Sound Recorder. Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday: Closed.
Sunday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
