The information contained in this portion of the site identifies common issues and risks that may occur when an instructor chooses to use third-party hosted (sometimes called "cloud") tools in instruction, and also provides recommendations on steps for individuals to take to reduce the risks associated with such tools. This information is not intended to be used for evaluating non-instructional purposes of such tools.
