Teaching Theater Support

The University's three Teaching Theaters in Alkek, Centennial Hall and the Student Center represent the intersection of integrated media and large classrooms. By using a diverse array of media, the Teaching Theaters provide a creative teaching and learning environment. Staff provides consultation and assistance with the use of media in a large classroom setting.

Teaching Theater Reservations

The Alkek and Centennial Hall Teaching Theaters may be reserved for special events, conferences, and guest speakers.  Please read the attached document, Reservation Policies & Fee Schedule for more information.  

To request  a reservation for the Alkek or Centennial Hall Teaching Theater  you will need to complete and submit  the RESERVATION REQUEST FORM.   Your request will be confirmed within 3- 5 business days.    Requests submitted in less than 3 business days cannot be guaranteed.

PLEASE NOTE:  For information regarding the LBJ Student Center Teaching Theater please contact Cathy Wootan at 512-245-2264.  We cannot process reservation requests for the LBJ Student Center.
