Building Online Communities

This workshop covers the benefits of fostering an online community in your class. You will see examples of how online communication tools, such as Adobe Connect, Facebook, and Twitter, can be used to help build community in your classes. Hands-on experience will be gained with various social networking tools.

Take a tour of educational sites in Second Life (SL) including the Texas State virtual campus, to see how Second Life is bring used in education.
